Financial Benefits:

In addition, a variety of scholarship programs are available at the University of Helsinki, covering everything from full tuition fees to monthly stipends, sickness/health insurance, travel, residential facility costs, literature financing, and even cash and space for experimental work.

For each degree program, scholarships that cover 50% or 100% of the tuition are available. The full tuition cost as well as a Є5,000 relocation stipend are covered through Finland scholarships. Your stipend and Є5,000 will be extended for the second year of study if you earn at least SS credits during the first year of study.

Finland has very affordable tuition when compared to other countries. There are no tuition fees for foreign students for programs that are provided in either Finnish or Swedish. IELTS, TOEFL, CL Advanced, PTE Academic, European Baccalaureate, and International Baccalaureate English language exams are all recognized by the University of Helsinki. Types of Scholarships available at the University of Helsinki 

1. Master Degree Thesis Fund:

2. Grant for the Academic Year Subsequent to the First:

The prize has a value of $11,700.

The university's second-year study scholarship is available to all students who must pay tuition. Depending on their academic achievements, the University of Helsinki grants five deserving students a total of $11,700 in scholarships.

One of the first things incoming college freshman should do is apply for the grant. The Second Year Study Grant is not available to students who are currently receiving scholarships or grants to cover their tuition.

3. Helsinki Funds Scholarship program: 

Fully Funded Scholarship.

All master's degree students at the University of Helsinki who are enrolled full-time and paying tuition are eligible for the Helsinki Funds scholarship program. The University of Helsinki provides two distinct kinds of scholarships to its students: one that covers the whole cost of tuition and fees as well as an additional $11,700, and the other that simply covers the tuition.

For the entire two-year period, full-time enrollment and timely completion are requirements to remain eligible for this award. Depending on how well you perform and how far along you are in your first year, you may be eligible for finance for a second year. Your financial aid won't be renewed if you don't. The scholarship offers several benefits in addition to paying for tuition, including free or significantly reduced medical care, discounted rates at nearby eateries, and more.

4. Hans Bang Foundation Scholarships:

For students doing research in the fields of economics or international commerce, the University of Helsinki offers the Hans Bang Foundation award. Scholarships from the Hans Bang foundation also include monthly stipends to support students in concentrating on their academic studies.

5. Dean's Award:

1,000 Euro will be awarded. 

Based on their academic standing from the previous year, second- and third-year students are eligible to apply for the dean's scholarship. The top pupils will be awarded a total of $1,100. D espite the reality that nearly all of its undergraduate degrees are free, the University of Helsinki only grants one undergraduate foreign scholarship.

6. University of Helsinld Valo Fund:

This is only for Finland Nationalities.

7. Academy of Finland Scholarships:

Scholarship from the Academy of Finland The University of Helsinki has it as well. These awards are mostly for research or academic purposes. Academic of Finland Scholarships are awarded each year for the autumn and spring semesters.

Science Bachelor's Degree Programs:

The application window for programs starting in the fall of 2022 is now closed. For studies starting in the fall of 2023, admission Group 2 applications will be accepted from March 15 through March 30, 2023. Others may apply, From December 1, 2022, through January 4, 2023, others may apply.

Master's Degree Programs for foreigners:

Applications for programs starting in the autumn of 2022 are no longer being accepted. Applications must be submitted between December 1, 2022, and January 4, 2023 for programs starting in the fall of 2023.
