Types of Scholarships:

In order to assist all students, University of Regina provides a variety of scholarship programs in several subjects. These awards are available to students in their undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and short course programs. They could be supported by the institution, the government, or other external groups. The following s are available scholarships for international students.                                                                       

1st. University of Regina International Entrance Scholarship: 
One of the most extensive entry programs for undergraduate applicants is offered by the University of Regina. The scholarship may be valued up to $200,000, with the chosen applicants receiving $3,000 right away. To qualify for this grant, applicants must be submitting applications to direct-entry undergraduate programs. In addition, to be eligible, the student must be registered for nine credits that semester. In terms of the academic requirements, applicants must have a conditional admission average of at least 85%.

2nd. University of Regina Undergraduate Welcome Solidarity Scholarship:
The only recipients of this fund are global undergraduate students. Students who sign up for the fall semester will get a $1,000 tuition credit. However, applicants for both the winter and autumn sessions will get a $2,000 scholarship for the on-campus housing facilities.

3rd. UR Circle of Scholars International Scholarships:
Another admission scholarship is offered here, although there are only 3 seats available for this program. If they continue their academic success, students who demonstrate the highest levels of academic excellence will receive $5,000 each year for four years. Additionally, every year during a Circle of Scholars event, students are invited to meet the president of the University of Regina. All applicants to this program are immediately given preference over those enrolled in undergraduate programs.

4rdVanier Doctoral Awards:
The largest scholarship program available to graduate and postgraduate students is this one. It aims to make it possible for outstanding doctorate candidates to attend Canadian universities. It has a $50,000 yearly value and a maximum term of three years. It is given based on academic achievement and evidence of leadership abilities.

5th. Graduate Scholarship Base Fund :

Students studying in the University of Regina's Masters or PhD programs are eligible for this prize. With various students, the scholarship's worth varies. It is given based on academic achievement and promise for future research.

6th. Women in STEM Entrance Scholarships :
These scholarships are given to female students who are studying Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics Subjects. The award is worth $10,000 spread across two semesters. The scholarship does not need an application, but in order to be considered, a faculty nomination is required.                                                                                                  

Medium of Instructions and Language Requirements:
All of the University of Regina's classes are in English. In order for the university to confirm that the candidates are qualified to enroll in its programs, they must submit documentation of their English language proficiency. Results from the English Language Proficiency Test can be used as evidence for these claims. The exams that the university approves include:

Is any Exemption? 

Yes, under some conditions, exemptions from the IELTS submission or any of the above-mentioned test results can be acquired. The student is not required to submit a test result if English is their first language. A recent English Language program completion is also acceptable if the candidate hasn't finished one in the past two years. Additionally, if the University of Regina's or any other Canadian university's E as Second Language program is successfully completed, it will be accepted.
