  Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Provincial Operation Officer has responsibility to report for Project Senior Operation Officer and the Operation Manager.
  • Send funding requests to the Project Senior Operations Officer.
  • Pay per diem and provide transportation to EBS attendees in accordance with the agreed-upon procedure, training plan, and participant list.
  • Ensure that the logistical needs of training programs are met in accordance with the agreed-upon specifications, standards, and timelines.
  • Check that every instance is appropriately documented.
  • Set up and send the program's expense report as soon as the training is completed. No approval should take more than one day after the program has ended.
  • Keeps an advance register of funds received from the Finance Department and funds released to Operations Assistants.
  • Facilitate the acquisition of essential commodities at the provincial level.

  Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Provincial Technical Officer works under the supervision of the Senior Project Officer and reports for the SPO.
  • Prepare a Provincial Training Plan in accordance with project implementation plans and communicate it with the senior project officer and project coordinator.
  • Obtain a list of CHWs (M & F) and key informants by HF from the BPHS NGO and plan to conduct EBS trainings in the HFs.
  • Coordination of EBS training with the CHS of all HFs where training is scheduled is required.
  • Conduct EBS trainings for CHWs and key informants in pre-identified HFs in selected districts in respective provinces.
  • At the district level, conduct at least 2-3 EBS trainings for CHWs 7 KIs every day in 2-3 neighboring HFs.
  • Responsible for paying per-diem and providing transport to all EBS training attendees in the HFs.
  • Before training in all HFs, ensure that all training materials, including stationery, are available for all participants.
  • Responsible for entire training class administration, including training location, with the coordination and cooperation of the CHS (training facilitator), in order to provide a conducive and learning atmosphere for participants.
  • Ensure that quality assurance principles govern the collection, preparation, and submission of reports to the senior project officer on time.
  • Ensure that the training activity is running smoothly in accordance with the project plan timetable and that the senior project officer is informed in an accurate and timely way.
  • Ensure that all training participants' personal information and contact information is accurately documented in accordance with the pre-developed format.
  • Updating the state of training in collaboration with the senior project officer to resolve learning challenges and instruction.
  • Ensuring that training programs, assessments, certification, and training data are delivered on time.
  • Conduct supportive supervision of training locations and CHWs on a regular basis to guarantee the seamless implementation of EBS initiatives at the community level.
  • Attend all EBS-related coordination meetings at the provincial level.

  Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

The EBS project coordinator reports to the organization's Program Director and General Director, and the following are the primary responsibilities of the position:
  • Overall administration and leadership of the allocated Events Based Surveillance (EBS) program at the national and provincial levels to fulfill project objectives within the budget and time frame allotted, and to report any operational issues to the Program Director as soon as possible.
  • Ensure that all CHWs and key informants attending EBS training get per diem and transportation.
  • Ensure that essential operating support, such as stationery, refreshment, and training venue, is provided during EBS trainings. Is accountable for making sure openness and accountability throughout EBS training participant per diem and transportation payments.
  • Led the development and execution of EBS project interventions such as project planning, staff capacity training, data collecting, reporting, and monitoring, as well as the creation of work aids and data quality assurance processes.
  • Create a project work plan/action plan and oversee how it's carried out in the field.
  • Continuously monitor and manage EBS project operations; assess project progress against project goals.
  • Sets up and maintains good communication and coordination with MoPH/GDEHIS/NDSR, PPHDs, regional/provincial surveillance officers/teams, WHO, BPHS NGOs at both the provincial and national levels.Participate all project-related national conferences with WHO, MoPH/GDEHIS/NDSR, and other stakeholders.
  • Create, submit, and monitor the project MoU with the MoPH.
  • In all five provinces, led and guides provincial project teams.
  • Maintain open lines of communication and cooperation with regional/provincial NDSR teams/officers in all five provinces.
  • During the project's lifespan, at least two monitoring missions should be conducted in each province.
  • Prepare and send project reports (monthly, quarterly) to the OPHCD headquarters on a regular basis, in accordance with sponsor format/guidelines.
  • Facilitate frequent meetings to help project personnel share information, ensuring all staff members are informed of project objectives and current work plans, and to offer feedback.
  • Staff should be coached and given technical supervision in order to establish ownership and complete responsibility for EBS actions
  • Manage the budget for the given project(s) and ensure that all spending are within budget and that the OPHCD requirements for financial management, such as accountability and good governance, are met.

  Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

He/She works under supervision of  CBNP Provincial Project Manager and the organization's Program Director and reports for them, and the following are the primary responsibilities of the position:
  • Creates assessment tools, identifies trainees' training requirements through pre-testing, and facilitates and supports their professional growth. 
  • Create a thorough training plan and offer tailored, simple training materials for each component. Guidelines, training manuals, presentations, and flip charts are examples of training materials that may be used in accordance with the CBNP national training guidelines.
  • CMSs at the HPs level, as well as CBNP refresher training for CHWs and CWs at the HFs level, should be planned and carried out.

  Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

The CBNP Technical Officer or Supervisor is in charge of assisting CBNP-Initial, C-WIFS, and MNP training project operations in every district of Urogan Province. The CBNP Technical Officer or Supervisor is in charge of delivering technical guidance and support to the project team, as well as helping with reporting and information collection, setting up and leading inspections to support the project's progress, and providing on time technical input.

  Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Project Senior Operation Officer is in charge of providing operational assistance for the seamless and effective implementation of the Event-based Surveillance training program, which will take place in five provinces: Nangarhar, Bamyan, Kandahar, Hirat, and Badakhshan. His/her responsibilities include finance, human resources, and procurement processes. These responsibilities shall be carried out in compliance with OPHCD and donor policies.

Finance Duties: 
  • Request project funding coming from the Finance Department.
  • Funds are distributed to provincial offices/operation officers.
  • Maintains a record of funds received from the Finance Department and funds allocated to provinces.
  • Ascertain that no province has a financial crisis and that adequate funds are available to ensure the smooth operation of the training programs.
  • Examine the spending reports supplied by the Provincial Offices to ensure that the expenditures are made in compliance with donor and OPHCD policy and for the intended purpose. The paperwork are correct, and all necessary supporting documents are provided.
  • Ensure that the settlement and clearance with the Finance Department is completed on time.
  • Process the project staff's monthly payroll.
HR Duties: 
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all employees, including agreements, depart, and attendance sheets.
  • Control the Provincial Operations Officers and Assistants; By publishing memoranda and circulars, they may align their operations with the project objectives.
Procurement  Duties: 
  • Support for the timely purchase and logistical planning of training programs.
  • Make sure that purchasing is carried out in compliance with the donor and OPHCD procurement policies, and that openness is maintained at all levels.
